• Some may gripe Zagat’s database is not extensive enough (uummm… more than 40,000 restaurants, hotels, nightspots and shops in more than 100 countries)

Features:

ZAGAT TO GO Android App packs the same powerful punch as their exclusive booklet guides and online directory… except that wealth of reviews, recommendations and ratings are mobile! Search global or local Restaurants, Nightlife, Hotels and Shopping.  Use GPS to filter searches by your neighborhood and see results on Google Maps.

When you narrow down your results, you’ll find Zagat’s ratings on a 30 point scale by Food, Decor, Service, and average price point. View the details and you’ll get more information such as address, hours of operation, website link, show on map and photos (if available). The Advanced Search allows you to filter by food, decor, service, cost, cuisine type and more. I do like the “Random Outtakes” as the diverting loader between screens.

ZAGAT TO GO Android App is very useful to those familiar with the service and to those in need of guides and recommendations.

Ease of Use:

The app is easy to use, by default if GPS is turned on it will show results in your vicinity. You can easily change to another location as to pre-plan recommended places.
