YourCity 3D is a live wallpaper app flying through a faux-major metropolitan city of high rises and bright lights. Occasionally you can catch a glimpse of billboards which display photos from your phone’s gallery. You can configure quite a bit with this app. Is this of your tastes? Features:
YourCity 3D is a 3D live wallpaper app that allow you to quickly personalize your Droid’s homescreen background with the bustling night lights of a metro cityscape! Viewed from various angles including an aerial helicopter view flying by, from the street level or you can set it to be stationary. Speaking of the settings, you have a wealth of others aside from camera view, but also control how much of the city distance you can see plus viewing angle. As the scenery zips past you can see little text phrases, of which you can type in your own messages. Lastly, there are occasional billboards that house pictures from your phone’s camera, and you can choose which folder location this pulls from along with billboard frequency.
I did not find any noticeable battery drain using the live wallpaper, however, did notice some hiccups with it restarting here and there. YourCity 3D only shows a night scene and does not transition to a daytime scene, for example. So, overall it’s a decent app to customize your phone or tablet background if you wish to temporarily escape the norm.
