Samsung has planned to roll out the latest version of Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) software on their later released devices and will start in the first quarter 2012. The following devices are included:
So if you’re still touting the original Samsung Galaxy Tab (7 inch) chances are you’re not included in this initiative, however, it was mentioned separate announcements of OS updates would be scheduled according to market situation and carriers’ requirements. With ICS brings a new user interface, improvements to notifications, more NFC sharing including ‘Android Beam’, face recognition device unlock, new ‘People’ contacts app, read here for more of what’s new in Android 4.0.
