WeatherPro is a highly detailed weather and forecast application for Android. With extensive forecast information for over two million locations worldwide, the ability to view radar and satellite images for the U.S., U.K. and most of Europe with detailed seven day forecasts available by 3-hourly intervals, WeatherPro is arguably the most comprehensive weather app available in the Android Market.

Features:
WeatherPro is a hugely functional and detailed weather app. It’s easy to use, simple to navigate through and features a wealth of information. If you’re looking for a new weather app, this might just be what you’re looking for.
The first thing I noticed about WeatherPro was the UI. Coming from apps such as BeWeather and Go Weather, I was a little underwhelmed by the bright blue hue of the WeatherPro screens. However, this lack of polish (which, ultimately is a ‘taste’ thing) is just about the only way I can fault WeatherPro.
The app is incredibly detailed and the user interface is simple to use. You initially have the main screen which shows the weather and forecasts for the next 7 days. Each day has an arrow tab on the right which, when tapped, opens up the next screen which features 3-hourly forecasts for that day. Tap further right and you get a summary of information for that period including: temperature, wind, pressure, rain probability, etc.
Along the bottom of the main screen are a series of tabs. The main weather is as detailed above, but there is also locations (you can find and save favourites), radar (which shows a scrolling video of recent radar movements), satellite (scrolling satellite map) and finally the settings, which lets you customise your experience by altering weather units, in addition to viewing app information and news.
In total WeatherPro hosts a staggering volume of useful weather information and forecasts that goes far beyond the comparatively basic info you get with the prettier weather apps. WeatherPro is certainly not the best-looking weather app available, but if you want accurate, detailed and ultimately useful weather data, it’s simply brilliant.

Usefulness:
If you need in-depth information about your local weather, or perhaps the weather that affects family members living far away, WeatherPro is an incredibly impressive app. Being able to see what the weather will be like accurately for the next week is a very useful feature and something people who like (or need) to keep abreast of the conditions- especially this time of year.
Ease of Use:
The level of detail is superb and it’s blissfully easy to use and understand. Simply tap across the screens to get ever more detailed information about the specific time you’re interested in. The forecasts obviously update as the week progresses, but the app is great to interact with and simple to use.
Frequently Used:
Depending on how much you need to know about the weather, the app could quite easily be something you use on a daily basis, if not several times a day.
Interface:
The interface is quite basic, compared with other apps. However the information available is highly detailed and simple to comprehend. It’s not as visually stunning as say, BeWeather, but still looks nice and certainly contains far more information.
