Weapon Chicken is a gun touting, canon shooting, tank blasting bad ass chicken shooting waves of monster baddies coming his way. The 3D environment is vibrant and cute and draws you in with the amount of weapons upgrades you can achieve while attaining gold points, battle through levels and meet end of level bosses.

Features:
They say imitation is the best form of flattery, and Weapon Chicken reminds me of an iOS game called Minigore. Yet this rendition doesn’t quite live fully up to it in comparison. You are a heavily armed chicken and your task is to go against a barrage of vicious monsters. You typically start with three lives, lose all of those and the game is over, however, they can be upgraded in the shop with purchase of gold points (of course you can shell out real dough to buy gold points).
As you play the game you will notice bullet packs and medical packs drop from the sky (even a tank). Be sure to grab those as it instantly upgrades your vitals. One gameplay advantage difference it has is that you get an indication icon of the monsters that will attack you.
The controls are intuitive and easy. On the left side is how you control movement and the right is firing. I suggest you toggle the ‘auto-fire’ feature in the menu screen for easier firing, but if you want more challenge, leave it off as you’ll have to dodge and aim yourself. At the end of each round you receive your score in gold points represented by how many lives you kept intact. In the shop you can purchase all kinds of weapons upgrades and lives to give you an advantage over the ever growing slew of enemies spawning your way.
There are two play modes; Adventure and Survival. The former has nine levels per world, with three worlds currently (with the promise of a Christmas version coming soon by the developers). Lastly, the game has Papaya integrate so you can share and discuss with friends on the platform. And the latter, progressing means surviving the most waves as possible to advance to other worlds.
My gripe in Weapon Chicken was that it froze the phone completely when playing the first level of the second world, twice. The first time it did it all game data was lost, which meant replaying the first world over again.

Fun Factor:
Weapon chicken is actually a fun and addictive game. In the beginning it may seem a little easy to conquer all the enemies, however, as you progress in upper levels of the world you will soon gauge difficulty as waves germinate more frequently.
One aspect of the game I’m thrown with is how far the fun can go in this game. It gets repetitive after a while and once you complete all the levels, there is not much more to do here.
Addictive:
If venting your anger on what looks to be Chinese dragon costume head foes doesn’t reel you in, the gamification aspect of making enough dough to purchase cool weapons will tickle your fancy. This keeps you coming back in addition to challenging yourself to see if you can end the level with flawless gold points.
Graphics:
The 3D graphics in this game are on point- bright, fluid and responsive; quite a highlight of the game. Just a small environment quip I personally would like to see improved are obstacles. Only in the higher levels is where you get obstacles like cactus, bushes and light poles in your way (but you can walk right through them). For example in the first world there are none, this is OK, but at least the small river should slow you down a bit as you cross it and running into a pole should mean going around it. The ground then seems like a picture slapped over a plane surface. That nuanced oversight makes it seems like the gaming package is not in complete harmony.
Accelerometer, Vibration & Sound:
Weapon Chicken uses intuitive touch screen controls for movement and firing. The soundtrack, however, is unfitting (especially in the first world)- it is an up tempo jazzy number and the problem is… there is one track per world and it gets annoying after a while.
