How many of us have a great mobile application idea but have no clue how to bring it to fruition? appubator, a Mobile Software Incubator, offers capital and development resources to bring ideas for mobile applications to market (Apple App Store, Google Android Market and Windows Mobile). The idea submitter receives 30% revenue share on sales from the app.
So how does it work? Simple, go to their website www.appubator.com, signup and submit ideas. They filter the best ideas and target 20-30 apps each year to develop. If selected, ideas submitters can track the status of their submissions. appubator already has its first round of applications and projected to release some of these apps to market in Q1 of 2010.
Maybe you’re a developer with a cool idea but lack capital to fund your project. Maybe you’re an average joe without the major PR and marketing campaigns. Either way, appubator offers an innovative solution for everyday people to take advantage of the “mobile boom”. So the next time you’re stroked with the “killer app idea”, don’t get stuck like the people in those Windows 7 commercials claiming credit for an idea.
I don’t want to partner just suggest. I have Moto Droid and the only feature I miss is a delay for the camera shutter. A very good camera that lacks a simple but needed feature. But maybe this is Motorola specific.
I get a bunch of funny text messages, some being videos as well as pics. We all send them back and forth and around the world. The only thing I have against the Droid is that I cant forward them by clicking the TO: field and have my contacts come up to just check the ones I want it to go to, or have a group I can put them all in like the other phones I have had and then hit send. Is there ever going to be an app or and update to fix this? Love the phone but this is the only draw back I have found with the phone. Love the reception with the calls. Works where my work phone does not, not to mention that it is an AT&T phone!
This Android store needs so much person doesn’t even know where to begin. But if I have too I would say where are the capabilities to purchase movies and music? Android needs a software similar to Itunes so you can keep all of your purchases simple and neat. Also, there are hardly any Health & fitness applications. There has to be a easier way of putting movies on your device than the way we have to currently do it. It’s so time consuming. Changing format, converting this and that, wow so much work just make things work. When you should be able to purchase them as you go one simple click for everything. Samething for vidoes. I could go on and on but I will see about submitting some applications because there is so much to add to this situation. Oh I almsost forgot, whey not change the color scheme in the android store? It’s so unattractive that dark background make it lighter and lively because if it’s vibrant people will take to it more. It’s the Illusion of the beauty which catches the eye of the shopaholic like myself. Your store reminds me of when I worked on MS DOS back in the day. Boy have we grown since then. Someone please change the way the store looks and give it some new colors in the background nothing green, nothing black.. those are such depressive colors… go for something rather spring colored anything but the blue and green..
Nice to see that android developers are listening…
