Features:

Vopium Android App offers low toll charges for International calls without your need for Wi-Fi (known as voice over IP… VOIP) by connecting your call with local numbers; whereas the International connecting is done via VOIP. Similar to RebTel, with less class and a few features in our evaluation that simply did not work or are really confusing.

Gripe Alert: the SMS feature simply didn’t work so we gave up on it. We tried the IM feature and it was very confusing as it did not offer a IM service to choose from however you could add a IM contact but nothing happens when you enter it.

Small peeve is the lack of suggestive search on Contacts, you have to browse the entire list… worse there is no fast scroll, only scrolling a long contact list.

Usefulness:

Low cost long distance mobile calling services like Vopium are very useful and convenient for people who call Internationally often, for companies, and for traveling business professionals.

Ease of Use:

Using it for long distance is probably the best use case currently. It runs in the background, once it detects an International call it asks if you would like to complete with their services.
