Vlingo, makers of Vlingo Words to Actions, just released Vlingo InCar a totally hands-free solution for Android smartphones that allows you to send & receive messages, make calls, and get directions while keeping two hands on the wheel, and two eyes on the road. To effectively use the app Vlingo suggests using a Bluetooth or headset, although I’ve had the liberty of a one on one demo with Vlingo’s CEO, Dave Grannan, in a loud environment and without Bluetooth or headsets and it worked well… check the vid below.

Vlingo InCar is free in the Android Market and ~~only available to Sprint~~ now available to all customers for Android devices running 2.2 (Froyo), but they’re working hard to bring it to all wireless carriers. Nudge ‘em to let them know you want the app available for your carrier!
