Virgin Mobile’s First Android Smartphone is Samsung Intercept

Virgin Mobile has stated on their Faceboook page they will be launching their first Android phone and it will be the Samsung Intercept. We’ve done a hands-on review of the entry level smartphone available on Sprint’s network that you can check out. Android is a hot topic everywhere in mobile, the consumer demand has caught up with Virgin Mobile and now they’ll supply it. A launch date and price point for the phone is not yet known, but at least VM customers can experience the goodness of Android without a contract.

If my new Samsung Intercept Phone from Virgin Mobile was a female, I would marry it twice, sleep with it at least 27 times a day and beat anybody that comes within 12 feet of her. Yes, the phone is the best!!! Virgin mobile has really surprised me with their first Android phone. And to think, I was actually going to buy the Rumor Touch??? I would of kicked my own ass for doing something stupid like that…lol Anyway for all you newbies, here’s the scope. Apps Galore, Awesome Interface, Amazing Battery Life, and a Sweet price especially for Non-committed (no contract) people like myself. Nothing could be better than having an overall amazing android OS phone with everything you need without contract in your hands. Thank you Virgin!!! Enjoy people

I couldn’t agree more ! This is an awesome phone, and the service from Virgin is excellent, even though it’s the most inexpensive out there. The only complaints I might have is that Tech Support is a bit spotty, although they did finally fix my problem. And, of course, it would be great if we could upgrade to Android 2.2…no word from Virgin on that yet.

This phone never works right…I feel like throwing it against the wall. Those other reviewer must work for V.M. This phone was a waste of money.
