Video Caller ID. Show video on incoming call. As well as blocking unwanted calls. Additional options: as for all the contact picture, mute, etc.
Price: Free, $2.99
Pros & Cons:
Pros
- Absolutely Awesome Video Caller ID App to customize your incoming caller experience!
- Block unknown callers not in your Contacts list!
Features & Usefulness:
HTC Sense features the incoming callers latest Facebook status thus starting the conversation before picking up… how about scaling that with a personalized video of the caller with any video of your choosing. Video Caller ID is just that! It’s a caller ID app that allows you to replace static photos or the Droid dude with video either already on your phone or allows you to shoot the video. Either use one video for all calls or personalize each caller with a video. WOW… think of the customization possibilities with the app! If using a video ID for all calls, I would encourage to either disable your phones ringtone as to not get duplicate sound. Or you can still have your phones ringtone and just disable the sound in the video. This app is worth paying for!

Ease of Use:
Use the app to configure how you would like your video caller ID to function, for some you may want all calls to have a video, some may want a selected few with videos only, others may want a selected few with vids and have the rest with default video, some may want video sound and no ringtone, while others may want to keep their ringtone and mute the video. AndroidTapp.com is going to show you how to do all of the above with Android Advice™:
How to set video for only a few calls?
Open the app, find your contact(s) and tap the contact box to browse and set each video.
How to set one video for all calls?
Go to app Settings » under Default video check “To use video” and tap the contact box just below to browse and set the default video.
How to set video for a few calls, and a default video for all other calls?
Follow the steps of the first two above!
How to disable the sound on video caller ID and keep my ringtone?
Go to app Settings » under Window settings of incoming calls » check Video without sound.
How to disable my phones ringtone when I have video calls set?
Go to home screen » tap Menu button » go to Sound » under Incoming calls section tap Phone ringtone » and choose Silent. Leaving the Video Caller ID settings intact will play the video audio but no incoming ringtone.
Frequently Used:
Once setup, every time you receive a call, you’ll see the contact photo then quick switch over to the video caller ID.
