Verizon Apps Closing January 2013, Shameless Plug to Sell Your Apps with AndroidTapp

Verizon started their app store in March 2010, and will be closing it January 2013, with complete phase out by March 2013. Luckily many of the apps there are also available in Google Play and other app stores, and was started as an alternative for developers’ apps to get noticed among an ever growing marketplace and consumers to discover more apps. The massive exodus will remove Verizon Apps (app store) from all compatible Android and Blackberry devices, excluding Verizon’s Private Applications Store for Business. If you haven’t already noticed, we have our own boutique-style Android app store, and if you’re a developer that is looking for an alternative & less crowded distribution channel, we can help (only quality paid apps- no free or freemium apps please!)
To get started:
- Read our FAQ & terms of service.
- Then signup for a developer account.
