AndroidTapp.com Android App Review:

Features & Usefulness:

Useful Switchers Android App is well… extremely useful! It allows you to easily toggle settings and features that you would have to hunt for in the traditional Android settings menus. Toggle: Wireless (Wifi), Bluetooth, Screen Brightness, Screen Timeout, 2G/3G, Airplane Mode, and Stats for Battery, Internal and SD Card memory usage. Even comes with the very handy “Flashlight” utility for turning your screen brightness up/down.

Ease of Use:

Useful Switchers couldn’t be any simpler, simply launch the app and toggle the settings you like.

Frequently Used:

Frequency of use is user dependant.

Interface:

The good thing about the user interface is how compact it is, meaning everything is in one convenient place, and actually launches above your Android desktop (which can toggle Full Screen or Window modes).

Does Useful Switchers work with Cupcake 1.5 & and the default button on the rt of ahome screen how do i remove and place what i want in there ?

  3. DerickJ says:

Seems to work differently with cupcake. Instead of one click on/off, when make a selection within the UI, it takes you to the default settings menu for the action where you have to select to turn it off or on. i.e. hitting the GPS switch takes you to the Security & Location settings where you can then enable the GPS. Before cupcake, Useful switches would automatically turn it off or on accordingly.

Anybody tried this with the Droid yet? It works OK, but secondary screens (like preferences)do not work (they keep flashing on and off).

  5. jcruse says:

FYI, the dev is no longer working on this app.
