Sorry Good Day Chicago, the FOX Chicago morning news show I watch to give me the days briefing, but there’s a new app competing with my attention for daily world news. Get news Headlines, sports Scores, Weather forecasts, Day in Pictures, Snapshot polls and more.
Headlines gives you a snippet and link to full article via the device. The app offers scores for; MLB, NBA, NFL, NHL, NCAAF, and NCAAB. It offers detailed weather forecasts (with National Doppler Radar) that allows you to add new locations. Pictures pulls popular and relevant pics in the news; Day in Pictures, Sports, Celebrities, Science, Travel, and Weather. The Snapshots poll interesting topics to cast a quick vote.
USA TODAY Android App brings one of the world’s top news sources to smart phones. It’s very useful for quickly getting current news in mobile format. It’s very easy and organized. All it’s missing is a “Search” feature, but not necessary as it’s design for current news headlines.
Potentially multiple daily use dependant on the user.
The user interface rocks! Everything is organized, easy to find and optimized for mobile use.

I think this is my favorite app right now
I used to think Telegraph was the best news app (still an awesome program) but I think USA Today takes the cake. The only problem is after I change my zip code for the weather, it always goes back to New York when I reopen the app.

I downloaded this app. Under the TOP STORIES segment. the first headline read:
Sen. Mccain Enjoyed Sarah Palins book. The second one said something about Taylor Swift, so I deleted it. I’m using BBC now instead
