TV Shows Stream is an awesome app for watching full length television shows on your phone! Videos are pulled from Internet sources like Megavideo, Frogmovz and Karambavidz and show high quality streams over 3G cellular connections. The free version offers only 12 pre-selected shows to view from while the full is not limited. I’m impressed with the amount of TV shows it finds. Search or browse through listings. TV Shows Stream supports Bookmarks so you can add a show or series to your list of bookmarks to access them directly. Plus you can check if new episodes has been released.
Tip: when loading the video players, ignore all other buttons and press green “Play” button to avoid the run-around. Avoid 72 min Megavideo limit if you have Megavideo premuim account.
I like to compare TV Shows Stream app to a mini-Netflix for TV shows apps. Great while commuting or traveling, especially those that are addicted to series formatted broadcasts. You no longer have to catch your show on the tube. This technology allows you to catch up anytime… anywhere!
The user interface of searching and filtering for your favorite shows is very intuitive. However, there are some areas to avoid when viewing Megavideo vids (see tip above) plus there are a ton of tiny icons along the video screen that are unnecessary when watching a show. Luckily those can easily be toggled off.
