Features:
Train Conductor 2 is a game that relies on you having good timing and mental agility. You must guide the trains to their desired track without a collision. You can pause most trains by tapping on them but you’ll need to drag them to the correct track as quickly as possible. As levels progress gameplay becomes trickier and you have to control the destiny of various different locomotives- even ghost trains! Before you start there is typically a short tutorial if gameplay is somehow different. For example, ghost trains in Nashville can’t crash and you’ll need to get used to that.
There are two different types of games. First you have to complete all the levels in Classic mode, then Challenge mode is unlocked. There are 9 American locations to journey through including: Miami, Roswell, Nashville, New York, Chicago, Seattle, Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon! There are a variety of leaderboards: global, weekly, and friends. You can even connect and post your achievements to Facebook.
I was quite enthralled by this game and I found it very addictive. It feels like such a big environment with so many leaderboards and modes to tackle. Throughout the game it is always lots of fun and, although it does feel a little repetitive after a while, it is so frenetic it quickly absorbs you and keeps you hooked. I thought at first it might be one of those laborious simulation games but this is no sim. It’s an action packed train ride across the USA that is both captivating and challenging in equal measure.

The soundtrack is diverse and changes as you travel around the country. It compliments the game really well and adds to the atmosphere described above.
