Not only is Sprint providing consumers with a choice on how their phone is skinned with Sprint ID, they are also making Android devices more affordable for anyone who doesn’t want to buy a high-end device such as an Epic or Evo. The third and final device annouced at CTIA to feature the new Sprint ID feature is the Sanyo Zio. The Zio will go on sale October 10th for $99.99 with a new two-year agreement. Sanyo packs the Zio with some pretty standard features in such a lightweight device including a new one we don’t see too often in Android devices, a trackball!

- 3.2MP camera with auto-focus
- Stereo bluetooth
- Built in Wifi (b/g)
- Trackball placed at the bottom of the phone for easy navigation
- MicroSD support up to 32GB (Includes a 2GB card)
- 512MB of internal memory
- Pre-loaded with Android 2.1
- Very lightweight: Only 3.7 ounces, almost as light as the Dell Aero! (3.67 ounces)
