Features:
The Dark Knight Rises brings the awesome movie to smartphones. The story-line is good as it follows the movie in a way, but deviates enough to not spoil it if you haven’t seen it (and you really should!) As Gotham city’s protector, it’s your job to foil Bane’s plan to bring the metropolis to crumbles. You’re Batman, so you have your billionaire-funded weaponry at your disposal; like the Grapnel gun and Batarangs- in the game you must earn enough Skill Points for riding the Bat-Pod and The Bat flying vehicle.
Sticking to the Dark Knight’s code of no guns, you definitely get to kick some butt as the fight scenes are awesome. The ferocity in Batman’s League of Shadows training shows in each hard punch on to his drop-kick- no matter how many attackers there are. Upon the successful completion of missions, your skill points are tallied. Among them are points for how many meters you guide, silent take-downs, enemies incapacitated, missiles dodged, bombs defused, and more. Along the way you consult with familiar characters from the movie; such as Alfred, Lucius Fox and Commissioner Gordon, plus the introduction of Selina Kyle’s elusive dual character… Catwoman.
The cityscape is breathtaking and full of detail. Some times it is hard to believable that it runs so smoothly on a phone- console quality graphics and gameplay on mobile. I played it on a Sony Xperia Ion, which as a dual core 1.5GHz processor under the under, that played the game flawlessly.
My only gripe is that the game is just under two gigabytes and you should be on Wi-Fi while downloading it, else eat massively into your cellular data plan. I opted to download on AT&T’s 4G LTE and the mobile network took less than ten minutes to download nearly two gigs of data. WOW!

Fun Factor:
The Dark Knight Rises has its peak of fun moments, especially when in melee combat with baddies or gliding through the city. It has a good balance of figuring out missions, plus mini-puzzles when breaking into secret rooms, along with hardcore action fights.
Addictive:
I believe fans of the dark trilogy will instantly be addicted to it. However, those into a mystery action adventure or love to run high end games on their Android would definitely appreciate this title.
Graphics:
If I haven’t praised this enough, the 3D graphics in this game are A+. It is highly detailed, everything from the city backgrounds, atmospheric particles, explosions, even the blood-hazed vision when Batman gets injured are rendered superbly!
Accelerometer, Vibration & Sound:
What I found cool was how they used actual dialogue from the movie in this game to guide the story. The only voice that was not the actor was probably Morgan Freeman’s character Lucius Fox. All other sound effects and background musical score are ideal for putting you into the mood of an epic game.
