I didn’t qualify for a free trial month with T-Mobile’s G1 touchscreen , highend device; however, after reading the Terms & Conditions of Use for Telenav GPS Navigator in Motion and learning that I can terminate my monthly $9.99 (USD) service fee, I had to treat myself to a little “look-see”.

On my first use, which was solely to sample this excellent application’s funtionality and accuracy…I have to share my utter astonishment and surprise! TeleNav has rocked my World, when it comes to apps for the T-Mobile G1, manufactured by the superior HTC, also the manufacturer of a great line-up of cellular smartphones.

There are many bells and whistles that TelNav thoughtfully built into their application, which can be installed on numerous cellular providers’ Internet capable line-up of phones, regardless of manufacturer. Thus far the feature I like most, while learning/playing with my installation; is that if you miss an instructed navigation, a voice directed turn (deliberately or not), “the guiding voice” thinks ahead, and then provides you with NEW navigational options, based on your NEW geo-coordinates. TelNav continues to “compensate” for missed navigational instructions, such that in the end of a trip (your destination point), you have been “talked correctly from point A to point B, no matter how many diversions you may have taken along your merry way!

This is a “must have” application for anyone with a GPS enabled cellular device, as long as one can spend the $9.99 (USD) monthly fee.

Now, if I could only get this application to navigate ME to that free 30-day trial, I would rate this application a 100 out of 10. Since it won’t navigate ME to the free 30-day trial; I must rate this application 99 out of 10!

Since my original post regarding TeleNav’s GPS Navigator in Motion, on 04.04.09 / 10:46 PM CDST, I have experimented from a static position in my Lazy Boy recliner, to be precise (and isn’t precision what we expect from GPS?). While experimenting with this application, I have found so many other features that are built in, which I already had known about because they were advertised by TeleNav; to be every bit as valuable and helpful, as TeleNav has proclaimed.

I would be interested in learning from anyone reading my posts regarding TeleNav’s GPS Navigator in Motion, and/or who have subscribed to their service; if you have found it to work as well for you, as I have found it to work for me. I’d also be interested in knowing how you feel about TeleNav GPS Navigator in Motion and the other features built into this application, i.e.; are they helpful to you, or just polish on top of polish? Thanks, in advance.
