TED Talks for Android is an app to watch, search, bookmark, share and listen to the latest videos and audio published by TED (ted.com). TED Talks for Android aggregates the conference lectures and presentations into a dedicated interface for easy mobile viewing/listening. It does have its limitations such as; sorting/filtering content by subcategories (but you can search Videos and Audio), the ability to browse older conferences, or the ability to log into your Ted.com account. Additionally, you can Bookmark or place content in your Favorites and easily Share content via email with colleagues.

Usefulness & Frequently Used:

Ted Talks for Android is targeted towards a specific group of individuals with strong interest in Technology, Entertainment and/or Design. A niche target audience app and not a general audience app. Also frequency of use can be limited only because TED Conferences occur a few times per year.

Ease of Use & Interface:

Ted Talks for Android is very easy to use due to its user interface. Its interface is sleek, clean and optimal for thumb/finger navigation between the four feature tabs; Home, Videos, Audio and Favorites. Gripe Alert: Though navigation is optimal, the text size is a bit small for some users and doesn’t currently offer a setting to increase/decrease font sizes.
