Samsung Behold II will Only be Upgraded to Android 1.6

OK news and just plain sad news for Samsung Behold II owners who are running elder Android version 1.5 currently will only be able to receive the update to Android 1.6 (Donut) and no other future update. :( We've noticed Samsung drag their heels on updates and most phones are upgrading to Android 2.1 (Eclair) and we are on the cusp of Android 2.2 (Froyo) release. The update does offer some improvements like Swype keyboard, an improved Media Player, updated core Android applications, and improved Bluetooth capabilities.Read Full Article

Samsung Behold 2

The Samsung Behold 2 was released in November of 2009. In the lineup has T-Mobile's fourth Android phone it features a beautiful AMOLED touch screen display, virtual keyboard, 3G capable, 3.5mm headphone jack, and 5 megapixel camera with digital zoom and LED flash. It features TouchWiz UI which has a dedicated button to launch "the cube" of core suggested apps: Music, Photos, Videos, Web, YouTube, and Amazon MP3.
