A Little More Research Next Time

Today was a day for relaxation. Granted, here I am doing work as usual. I checked around for Android news and came across this article: "One third of Android owners secretly want to join the cult of iPhone". Okay, I know this is asking for a mouthful, but really? Apparently the UK site "MyPhoneDeals" did a mobile phone poll comparison and Android owners were "four times more likely to desire an iPhone than the other way round". I'm particularly interested in how this data was collected and exactly what types of consumer this poll targeted. Was it only UK users or is this globally based? It seems slightly biased here and I'm not sure I would even consider this type of data to be accurate. I did a little more digging and it turns out that the study only involved 524 people (Source: Macgasm). Was I worried? Absolutely not, I love my Android! After some further thought it makes sense. In the UK, the iPhone is not as nearly as an exclusive product as it is in the U.S. Several carriers sell the iPhone in that market versus AT&T in the U.S. Even so, that's not what alarms me.Read Full Article
