Based on Google's latest platform stats they release monthly showing the break down of the various versions of Android in the market worldwide, I would conclude Android tablets are not selling well at all accounting for 0.3% market share of Android 3.0 (Honeycomb) software for tablets. By our estimates this would be about 125,000 tablets sold in the first quarter of 2011, which puts it right on par with estimates of 100K a month ago by Deutsche Bank, reported by Business Insider. Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 joins the 7 inch and 10.1 inch models as Samsung's thinnest and lightest Android tablet running Android 3.0 Honeycomb sporting clean Touch Wiz 4.0 user experience. The Consumer Electronics Association conducted a survey in Septemember of this year to see exactly what's on the wish list of consumers this holiday season. Turns out that not only are consumers spending more than they did last year but they will also spend the most this year than any other year that they have been keeping track of holiday spending.
