HTC Evo Update: Calendar fixes, Gmail account sync, No framerate restriction!

Sprint release an update from the HTC Evo on September 22nd (version 3.29.651.5) that included a few small features. On their support site, they only outline calendar and multiple gmail account sync fixes. Of course, the moment I saw the notification I jumped on the opportunity to download it. After the install, I notice the device's animations had become more fluid and faster. I downloaded the application called "FPS2D" to test the framerate which was originally blocked at 30 fps. Samsung Moment Finally gets Android 2.1 Update from Sprint

After push backs with many other phones anticipating the new Android 2.1 software. There is an official update for the Samsung Moment at Sprint's support website. This will NOT be an over-the-air update, you have to get it yourself, it will require wiping your phone, plus you must visit Sprint's support site for detailed instructions to do it yourself.
