CEA Predicts Consumers Will Spend 5 Percent More Than 2009

The Consumer Electronics Association conducted a survey in Septemember of this year to see exactly what's on the wish list of consumers this holiday season. Turns out that not only are consumers spending more than they did last year but they will also spend the most this year than any other year that they have been keeping track of holiday spending. The CEA found that "consumers will spend $232 on CE (consumer electronic) gifts, up five percent from last year".Read Full Article

Sources have been reporting that Facebook is not only building a platform but is also building a phone, according to TechCrunch. The interesting part is that Facebook is supposedly building it's mobile phone and new OS based off of Android!
