We recently asked developers and consumers what 4G apps can they think of given the increase mobile Internet speed on devices such as HTC EVO 4G and Samsung Epic 4G. Some pretty intersting ideas came back such as streaming HD TV, live social video streaming, video phone calls and video chat sessions while mobile. Snaptic and HopeLab are collaborating "Move Your App" developer challenge running April 22 - May 21, 2010. The conference is hosted by Snaptic, a developer of smartphone and web apps that capture, organize and share info, and HopeLab, a non-profit focused on helping address the obesity epidemic and sedentary behavior in young people using mobile tech and apps to inspire more movement. Plink is an Android App that does what Google Goggles does for products yet for artwork and paintings. Take a picture of artwork for instant identification with detailed information, comment and share. With Google's acquisition of the firm Plink features will be incorporated into Goggles.
