Stream HD Video Wireless to DLNA Enabled TV from Android Smartphone

At 4G World 2010 in Chicago I had the pleasure of receiving a demo of DLNA (Samsung brands it AllShare in Galaxy S Android smartphones) from Sprint streaming 720p HD video wirelessly to an LCD HDTV from a Samsung Epic 4G as well as docked HTC Evo 4G streaming from HDMI out. Awesome stuff! 8)
Many of our readers already know what this technology is, or geeked out already with it in their home TV setups. For those who don’t know and want to get in the “cool club” DNLA is a technology that allows you to stream pictures, music and video across multiple devices like televisions, Blueray players, game consoles, digital cameras, MP3 players, smartphones, computers and more all over Wi-fi. You can plug in a cable to sync, but with the newer wave of electronics you can ditch the cables as seen in the vid above. Though you might not typically stream vids from your phone, it is a nice feature to be able to stream an HD video shot on your Android phone directly to your TV.
