bytesequencing.com brings a version of the card game Spades to Android. This app exhibits everything you would expect from the classic card game except difficult or smart computer partner/opponents. Major Gripe Alert: the Android game is fun yet, for the serious spades players like myself, deters you from wanting to play extended games as the decisions of the computer become counter-productive. I.e., many times the computer players (your partner included) clearly cut books you’ve already won… worst they do it with their highest spade. 

Another downer is this is a paid app with a free counterpart laced with AdMob ads. Spades on most desktop computers are typically free. Adding online play with human players and chat usually warrant the right to charge among online gaming networks. This app doesn’t offer online play.

Spades Android App has a cool interface with fast paced animations and helps you focus on playable cards/suits. The Nil/Bid number buttons could be bigger, the smaller buttons can lead to mistaken bids with fat fingers. The good thing, the app stores your game session so you pick up exactly where you left off… say if a call comes through.

   It could have been more fun if they will add multiple player feature on this. It just doesn’t sound right playing this game on your own, besides profit wise, I think this game could funnel more greens and fun adding the multiple player feature rather than the upfront value. A good comprise would be, pay per online use.

   I really want to start playing the spades game but i dont know how to get started it dont state any where on the screen where to push statr or deal please assist me in getting started.
