AndroidTapp.com Android App Review:
Pros
- Cool and innovative home screen replacement app, your information is brought to you versus you going to get it
- Everything in one convenient place
- Slick user interface
Cons
- Far different than tradition Android home screen, therefore forces new learning habits for users
- Slower start-up than default home app
- Only supports 1 Gmail account, the one logged into your Android phone. Other email accounts not yet supported like from default email, K9 Mail or Exchange by Touchdown
- Can’t send Tweets from the app, you need Twidroid for that
Features:
SlideScreen Android App is a home screen replacement app that loads your information right on the home screen in an innovative fashion. See latest emails (Gmail), Tweets, time, date, weather, stocks, and phone calls all from one screen… click to open the app. What about my Android Apps??? Tapp the “Menu” button to bring up a list of apps, similar to default drawer of apps. Plus you can add up to 8 frequently used apps (simply longpress the app then tapp the empty slot above).
One major Pro & Con about this app is that it is a very different user experience than the default home screen or any of Android home replacement app for that matter. In my experience, most home screen replacement apps start up slower than the default home screen app.

Usefullness
SlideScreen’s greatest strength is that it is useful; your information is brought to you versus you going to get it right on the first screen.
Ease of Use
Since the user experience is different, there is a slight learning curve (we suggest you see the video above). But it’s not rocket science!
Frequency of Use
If used, you’ll be cranking the app up every time you access your Android phone.
User Interface
The UI is slick! Very organized and smooth… “which looks something like a mashup between WinMo 6.5 today screen and HTC’s minimalist TouchFLO style“ says Chris Velazco of TechCrunch/MobileCrunch.
