AndroidTapp.com Android App Review:
Pros & Cons:
Pros
- You don’t need an Android phone with carrier subscription to download Android Apps
- Alternative method for finding apps
Cons
- Smaller percentage of available apps
Features:
SlideME Android App is a utility to offer Android Developers an alternative to Google’s Official Android Market. Both free and paid apps can be found there. The resource is great for finding those apps either not listed or not permitted in the Android Market. The SAM app offers slight improvements over the official Market such as numerous screenshots versus 2, longer description field versus 325 charcters and can associate YouTube videos.
It works 2 ways:
- you can download their marketplace app SAM onto your Android phone, then download free apps and install with ease (for paid apps you must signup for a Mobentoo account to associate one of many payment options available).
- Free app versions can be downloaded to your computer so you can drag and drop them to your Android phone via USB.
This concept is great for developers and consumers alike as often times you just can’t find apps in the “Search Kings” catalog (how ironic)! We receive a ton of email daily that people just can’t find some apps.
