Comedy channels on long drives keep me awake.

I loved the cached stations feature that I had on my blackberry with slacker. Slacker and Pandora were a tie before cached stations, but now that cached stations cost money, I mainly use Pandora, but would be more than happy to switch back

Like being able to create my own station, then modify that station on the fly with the like button, or the ban button for songs or artist I don’t want.

Slacker Radio got me to cancel my Sirius subscription. I love it. Plenty of radio stations and I get to hear new music all the time. My main gripe would be the difficulty in changing stations. Pressing Menu -> Home, waiting for the home screen to update, and then at least two more screen presses for a new station is too much in the car. Would be great if there was something analogous to a radio’s station presets where I could quickly switch.

I don’t like that caching is no longer free. It creates problems when I want to listen in the subway. I would love a Plus subscription to remedy this.

I haven’t used Slacker before, but I know some of my Blackberry friends love it. Plus, I’m always up for a new alternative to Pandora…it’s getting old with all the repetition of songs…even after I spent the $34 on a Pandora ONE account!

I really like that caching feature. I use to use Pandora quite a bit, but now I’m somewhat leaning towards Slacker. And the fact that you can have unlimited skip is a plus over pandora.

I love this app. I used it on my old Blackberry and was very happy to see it available for Android. I love being able to set up custom stations as well as tweak the pre-fab stations to my liking. What I don’t like is the stability on Android (at least on my Droid Eris). It frequently crashes. I had to download Advanced Task Killer so I can kill Slacker when it freezes/crashes.

Something I would really like to see available in this app is a drive mode that uses BIG buttons so I am not accidentally hitting the heart when I meant to ban a song/artist or vice-versa. I’ll sum this up by saying that my commute would really suck without this app!

I’m a big fan of the Cached stations. I use the subway for my commute so it’s awesome to have music when I’m underground.

Always love when I get to drive my mom’s car, since it has satellite radio, and I get to learn about lots of music I like that I’ve never heard before. That’s why I love Slacker, it’s the same premise, but it’s with me 24/7 and available whenever I want. Great music choices!

I enjoy having the cached stations…being able to have them for free would definitely be a plus. Used it on my blackberry, and still enjoy it on my Droid. The occasional freeze/force close is annoying, but not unbearable with task killer. Still a Slacker fan.

I like being able to create a station and find new music and at the same time, being able to skip to the next song and ban it if and when I want to. What I dislike (with the free basic version) is having only 6 skips in an hour. Other than that, it’s a great alternative to Pandora which gets repetitive at times.

When I tried it out, I was really impressed by the audio quality. This is better than FM quality to my ears. It’s diverse and gets me to listen to new things.

I need this. Alot. This app has better stations than Pandora. The layout is alot cooler than Pandora in my opinion. It has “sponsored” stations like Top Hits which is just like Sirius Radio which is exactly what I am looking for in a mobile radio app. The one thing that I do not like is only 6 skips. One time one of Justin Bieber’s songs came on and I couldn’t skip it. My ears bled.

Like everybody else, I love the cached stations. Also, I’m a big fan of the fact that Slacker actually sometimes plays songs by the artist I choose, whereas some other streaming services only play “similar” artists.

Bigger buttons for use while driving would be very welcome, as would a price drop for the subscription.

It’s great for me. I use it on long trips so I don’t have to change radio stations through every other town. And it’s great for work, so many stations there is something for everyone.

like: the speed is pretty good compared to the other streamer, audio quailty is solid, navigation is very smooth and seemless, cache channels are ideal for subways and underground areas where you just want some talk radio or some good old school hip hop.
dislike: no caches for free using members. give us a crumb or two, please. i had it on blackberry and it was incredible. just not incredible enough to pay for a subscription. too many free services out there playing good music to pay more than a few dollars for cache services…but its a good service, don’t get me wrong. i’m just poor. ;)
