Shush! Ringer Restorer. Ever miss an important call because you left your phone on silent? Shush helps resolve that issue! It’s activated when you silence your ringer using the volume buttons. You don’t need to remember a special app! Once your ringer is off, it asks you how long to stay silent. Never miss another important call. Great for class, the office, movies and sleep.

• This is something that should have been embedded into the OS, in my opinion

I’m going to give a scenario that I’m sure we have all been there before:

You just left work at 6:00pm and your awesome Android device is in your pocket still on silent. If you left the ringer on during work hours, you wouldn’t have a job! Before going home, you know there are a few groceries you need to bring for dinner tonight. Maybe you have to pick up your dry cleaning. There is some specific reason you aren’t going straight home after work. Of course, you forgot to tell your wife/husband/boyfriend/girlfriend/mother/father about your errands and now they are frantic and upset looking for. You arrive home and immediately get an earful because not only where you late, but you also forgot to pick-up the chicken for tonight’s dinner while at the grocery store on your way home. Oops!

Okay, maybe this hasn’t happened to you, however, I’m sure we have all missed calls because our phone was still on silent and we simply forgot to increase the ring volume. You can now avoid that situation by using Shush! Ring Restorer. Once the app is installed, it can be activated by simply turning the volume on your device down to silent. You will receive a pop-up asking how long you would like the ringer silenced. Fast, convenient, and no need to open up an app everytime you want to use this feature. Check out the screenshots below to see it in action. Ironically enough, Public Object stated this was “a fun Saturday project”. Such a useful project it has turned out to be!

Usefulness:

Everyday usage and the easy integration into the device makes the phone and handy (and often necessary) tool. No more missed calls after work!

Interface:

Simple and straight to the point. New color themes would be nice.
