Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 joins the 7 inch and 10.1 inch models as Samsung’s thinnest and lightest Android tablet running Android 3.0 Honeycomb sporting clean Touch Wiz 4.0 user experience. This model and 10.1 both get real tablet treatment in both form factor, hardware and software. Weighing in at only 16.6 ounces and 8.6mm thick; a hair thinner than Apple’s iPad 2 by 0.2mm. Both tablets will be available June (2011) and pricing is still to be announced. One of the sweetest perks is that it offers up to 10 hours battery life despite having 1GHz Dual-core processors.
