User Rating4.00/5Samsung GALAXY Tab 2 (7 inch) was announced today as Samsung’s first Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) tablet. The 7 inch tablet has a screen resolution of 1024×600 display, with dual-core 1GHz processor, 3-megapixel rear camera and VGA front-facing camera. It has 1GB of RAM and you can add 8, 16, or 32GB internal storage for apps and content. It will be available in 3G and Wi-Fi models with support for HSPA+ connectivity. In addition to access to Android apps, the device will have Samsung’s Allshare Play for wireless device to television content sharing feature, Samsung Hub services including Readers, Music, Game, and Video Hubs; plus ChatON, Samsung’s cross-platform messaging and chat service.
Available in March 2012 and starting in the UK first, it will hit global markets thereafter. Pricing is to be announced.
