Riddles, Brain Teasers, Logic is a large collection of fun and engaging logic puzzles. You will probably have encountered many of them, but there are plenty that will be new to you.
You initially begin on the home screen which lists loads of puzzles, each with a title and a brief intro. You can freely scroll down and select whichever puzzle you would like to try. When you enter a puzzle question screen, you get the full question with three tabs at the bottom. These consist of a share button, an answer button and a heart button which saves that puzzle to your favourites. Back at the initial screen you can jump straight to your favourited puzzles. Additionally, there is a donation option, plus a link to buy a Special Edition which promises more puzzles to solve.
The puzzles themselves are quite familiar. For example ‘Weird Death‘ describes a man who is lying dead in the middle of a field with an unopened package. How did he die? If you’ve ever found these kind of puzzles before; in books, on the Internet, a Christmas cracker… then you’ll probably recall that the package is an unopened parachute and he died when it failed to open for him. There are lots and lots of puzzles; some you will be familiar with, others less so. My guess would be that most puzzles have been collected from various sources and implemented into the application.
As there probably isn’t much originality in the puzzles themselves, the benefit of the app is that is gathers all these puzzles together in one useful place. The app is free and ad-supported but does offer you the chance to donate/unlock new puzzles. I think because the puzzles themselves can most likely be found elsewhere, I’d think carefully as to whether this is genuinely worth it.

I have to say, I love these kind of puzzles and have found that kids, teenagers and adults alike can be easily be drawn into completing them. Being able to flick through them and save your favourites is pretty useful too.
It’s not like Angry Birds in that the game is hard to put down; in many way’s it’s not actually a game at all. However, if you like to challenge your own logical ability, or that of those around you, this is an app you could open regularly.
The graphics are very simple but offer smooth transitions and simple controls.
Accelerometer, Vibration & Sound:
There is not need for the accelerometer, there is no vibration and sound consists of small noises when you open a puzzle and when you reveal the answer.
