Reddionic is a bold and well-designed reddit application that lets you access the ‘front page of the internet’ conveniently on your Android device. It lets you post content, browse sub-reddits and search for particular posts. You can also do all the usual things such as comment and give thumbs up and down. It’s a great app to look at and, although it can take time to load pages, generally works well.

Pros & Cons:
Pros
- Great design!
- Easy to use!
Cons
- Can be incredibly slow to load pages, etc.
Features:
There are a number of third-part reddit clients available in the Google Play Store, especially considering the sites popularity and lack of official app. Most notably perhaps are reddit is fun and BaconReader. Reddionic is another great app and, for me anyway, certainly has an edge over the others in terms of design. It blends some bold lettering alongside a Holo-centric theme which looks great.
Inside the app you can do all the usual things you might expect; post, comment, browse, give thumbs up and down. You can search and favourite any number of sub-reddits and scrolling through posts and comments is generally smooth and fun to use.
The only thing I felt really let the app down was the sluggish loading times of some pages. Seriously, after 10-15 seconds of waiting for a picture to load it can feel frustrating and might make you quit the app. This doesn’t always occur but when it does it can be annoying. Besides this the app is pretty neat. It is quite clearly marked as being in ‘beta’ but most functionality works great.
One thing that does worry me a little is the lack of development the app had in recent months. Last updated in July, it’s either due a huge update or has been neglected. I just hope it’s the former as it’s a cool app that has the potential to be even better.

Usefulness:
If you’re a fan of reddit and like to browse and post to the site while on the go, this is a nice app to try out. The occasionally slow page loading times can be annoying but perhaps if you’re only an occasional user, this should be fine for you. While the app looks great, I’d perhaps still recommend something like BaconReader for heavier users.
Ease of Use:
The app is pretty easy to use and includes small tutorial features to help you about. I think if you’re already familiar with reddit this will help.
Frequently Used:
This really is something that depends on the user. While the app can sometimes be slow, occasional visitors to the site should find the app stable enough for their purposes. That said, if you use reddit a lot, you might find this a bit too cumbersome for everyday use.
Interface:
The interface is probably the feature I like the most. It’s incredibly fresh-looking and features vivid lettering and design. I would perhaps have liked to have seen a few more customisation options but that’s not a massive issue.
