QuickDial Android App offers an interface to speed dial or quickly launch a shortcut to your favorite apps. When launching, you’ll find a grid of 3×4 spaces (with 3 screens to slide between… total 36). Simply tapp the location which launches a dialog to save a contact or Android app. You can change the app background, import and export settings.
The app can be useful if used often enough for its quick launch capabilities; such as speed dialing (remember to remove the confirmation in the settings menu when speed dialing, else its an extra click).
QuckDial Android App is straight forward and easy to use.
Save contact photos or app icons in the grid. Besides changing the background, the user interface is pretty basic.

I can’t load in market

A must have for driving, works well. If I had not found this app I probably would have returned Droid because of lack of speed dial. This is a safety item as far as I am concerned.
The author tells me he is interested in adding a widget version, as I an several others have requested this ability. My wife really wants a launcher screen dedicated to quick dialing for select contacts, but she find the default icons too small. This will be perfect and is likely to elicit a donation when it is available.
