How impressive is that! Hank Torres, who is paralyzed from the shoulders down, set a new Guinness World Record in 83.09 seconds using Swype and a specialized head-tracking device called TrackerPro®. Co-created by Cliff Kushler and Randy Marsden, Swype originated out of a desire to help the disabled communicate and this new world record solidifies Swype’s commitment to its origins of helping people communicate through technology. You can find Swype keyboard technology pre-installed on many Galaxy S phones aside from their closed-beta program. I’ve personally mentioned how this keyboard is my personal fav because of its speed of input. Check out our Android app review of Swype Keyboard for Android phones with video in action!
