Prehistoric Park is a fun tycoon game that requires you to manage a Flintstones-style theme park for the local cave people. The game features cutely animated graphics and excellent sound, in addition to engaging gameplay. There are dozens of rides, accessories and other items to buy and, as with any tycoon game, plenty to collect and grow. If you enjoy these polished accumulation games, you’ll really enjoy this.

Pros & Cons:
Pros
- Brilliant graphics!
- Good sound!
- Engaging gameplay!
- Lots to do!
Cons
- Progress can be slow unless you make in-app purchases.
Features:
Tycoon games are among the most popular in the Google Play Store. The ability to create and manage a town/village/fun-fair/tattoo parlor exactly how you want to seems to be one of the most appealing preoccupations to discover for your mobile device. It’s also arguable that while games like SimCity have been around for many years, the burgeoning success of perennial friend-bothering Facebook apps like Farmville are partly to blame for the interest in this genre.
You can get tycoon games in all shapes, sizes and themes. Here at AndroidTapp we have reviewed plenty, such as Tattoo Tycoon, The Tribez, Happy Street, Airport City and Tiny Tower. Prehistoric Park, however, blends a couple of popular concepts; theme parks and prehistoric cave dwellers. It’s all a little Flintstones, but undoubtedly fun and enjoyable to play.

There are loads of rides to build, maintain and collect money from and, as your park grows, so does the number of visitors. You need to keep them happy at all costs. You can hire people to help you do all manner of things including collecting money from your rides and picking up litter. This is a small step away from doing everything yourself, but I thought it was quite innovative and user-friendly.
The in-game visuals are high quality and certainly a step up from most tycoon style games which tend to put more effort into the framework of the game rather than the graphics. The sound too to exceptional, with music and plenty of neat sound effects,
The aim of the game is to grow, but you also unlock achievements and increase XP levels which unlocks more and more content. The game is very much in the freemium mould, so expect progress to be slow unless you make in-app purchases. Initially, however, you can play the first few levels of progress in a way that gives you a good feel for the game.
Overall I would say the game is lots of fun and certainly something fans of the tycoon genre will really enjoy. The game is completely free to play so definitely think about giving it a go.

Fun Factor:
Obviously if you don’t enjoy these kind of games, this isn’t going to interest you for very long. But if you ever got into Farmville or similar games on Facebook, or have played any of the hundreds to freemium accumulator games that populate the Play Store, you will really enjoy this.
Addictive:
These are games that you might either love or hate, so if you’re in the latter group this isn’t going to be something you want to play over and over. For the lovers, this is a highly addictive and compulsive little game to play and the theme (fun-fair rides and cavemen) is familiar yet actually quite an original blend of ideas.
Graphics:
The graphics are not mind-blowing in any regards but certainly far better than many tycoon games available.
Accelerometer, Vibration & Sound:
The game is rich with sounds- from music to numerous ride-related sound effects. These do repeat a little but thankfully it’s not particularly annoying and I felt it added a nice dimension to gameplay.
