Popcompanion Mobile is the app interface for Popfax.com, a site that gives you a virtual fax number, from which you can send and receive faxes. It’s actually a very slick app and Website – if you still use faxing. 
In a world of emails, IMs and SMS, FBs, Tweets, Kiks, however, it seems a bit obsolete.

Usefulness:
There are some professions that, admittedly, still use faxes. Legal, for example, still requires the use of faxes rather than accepting electronic documents. And if you’re in one of those professions that does, or you work with one, then this is going to be a lifesaver.
Ease of Use:
The app version is very easy to use. When you first open it, you can choose to either log in or register your account. I had some problems trying to register from the mobile browser, but when I put the exact same address into my computer, I had no problems creating the account. The service itself is paid, but through the site you can get a free trial offer, no credit card required, to try it out and see if you like it and want to subscribe. This is a big plus in it’s favor.
Frequently Used:
If you use faxes, either sending or receiving, this is a seriously useful app you’ll probably spend quite a bit of time in.
Interface:
I like that once you’re logged in, you can get at a variety of settings, and even create and manage folders. It comes with an Inbox and Outbox automatically, but its very easy to add new, custom folders. You can also add contacts, which are separate from your phone address book, making it a handy way to keep only those numbers for faxing in one place.
