Plug Headphones is a simple app that launches an installed application you select from your list of apps whenever you plug in your headphones. If can even be used to launch an app when it detects a Bluetooth earpiece has been connected (for Android 2.0+ devices). It just saves you a few clicks finding that preferred media player app. At the same time it can be a crutch IF you use your headphones for tasks other than the preselected app, such as make calls or use it for other apps.

I just created this functionality in about 2 minutes using Tasker.

Total waste of money, Tasker will do this and so much more besides.

  Well, It’s good if you just need an automatic app launch feature in your phone and don’t care about all of the other configuration features you may find in Tasker. Besides, Tasker costs about 5 times more.
