Next Chat Anonymous Dating allows you to chat with folks around the world without signing up for any particular service. In theory, you can chat either at random, or configure the virtual ‘Assistant’ to find a compatible person for you or use your location to chat with someone close to you. Let’s see if the app can be used to help you find fun friends or your next love interest.
Price: Free
Tested on: Samsung Galaxy S3, Xperia Ion, HTC One S
Content Rating: Medium Maturity
Pros & Cons:
Pros
- No registration required!
- Potentially chat with and meet interesting people around the globe!
Cons
- Inconsistently finds someone on the network to chat with.
- Numerous errors connecting to the chat server.
Features:
Ever wanted to rekindle the nostalgia of early Internet days of chatting and stay totally anonymous, then if you spark up an interesting conversation with someone, friend them and continue, else fly the coop?!? Well Next Chat Anonymous Dating offers this in an app and any one can use it without even registering for a service. The app offers a few ways to chat: at random, using the ‘Assistant’ to answer a series of questions to get a person that better matches your interests on the network, or chat with someone nearest your location based on your GPS location. If you’re enjoying the conversation, you can share pics or even send your location if it gets that serious plus create contacts on the platform for future rendezvous. If you’re not enjoying the convo, you can instantly ditch it and remain anonymous.
Sounds good in theory, but in practice, the app is not so peachy keen, as it inconsistently finds- or not finds anyone on the network to have a chat with. I assume it is because the app and platform are new and there’s not much activity going on, yet, as you very often do not find anyone to chat with.
At the recommendation of the developers, I removed all custom settings of location, gender, etc., I tested the app with three phones and was not able to connect to the devices since I could not get a real person to test with until about ten straight minutes of trying (no user will realistically wait that long, but we’ll do it if it means thoroughly testing an app.)
If the waiting and inconsistent connections are not pain enough, when you finally do find someone to chat with, they often immediately leave. Not the fault of the app, platform, nor the developers, just a caveat of any chat platform.

Usefulness:
Next Chat, when working correctly, can be a fun & exciting app to connect with folks around the globe. Tip: I found that you can connect a tad bit easier if you change the settings to Russian language and go from there.
Ease of Use:
For many that complained in the Google Play store as well as us, this is where the app fails. It either fails to connect resulting in errors, inconsistently connects, or takes far too long to connect when it does. If the user experience were made solid, this app could have much potential.
Frequently Used:
If you can get the app to work consistently for you… bravo! However, this really is user dependent on whether you can connect and how often you feel like a chatty catty.
Interface:
The user interface reminds me of a cookie-cutter iPhone app, nothing wrong with it, as that means it is easy to navigate an flows well for its intended purpose.
