Cons
Features:
My Beach HD is the ultimate live wallpaper for the escapist. With temperatures plummeting and snow falling in various parts of the northern hemisphere this is just the app to warm you up!
What you get with My Beach HD is a hugely customizable live wallpaper experience with control over nearly every element of the visuals. The settings menu is ridiculously long, but it gives you access to change pretty much anything you can see. One extra cool feature is the ability to auto-pan the whole beach scene; while you can opt for a static image with rolling waves in the background, you can also allow the camera to seamlessly pan from side to side.
The default is a relaxing beach scene but you can set it to display different preset themes: Independence Day, Fireworks at Night, Private Beach, Family Outing or Shark Sighting. Alternatively you get stuck into the mechanics of the wallpaper and control the content of the sign, camera panning, time of day, ball type, bucket type, cooler and drink type, sign type, towel type and umbrella type. Furthermore you can toggle the presence of all these items; if you don’t like the ball- get rid of it!
You can add a shark, or make the seas rougher, show a bonfire or have a dazzling firework display- the choice is yours. Whatever you choose, it a visually stunning wallpaper that looks incredibly detailed. It might not suit everyone and I’d suspect it’s not massively battery-friendly but it’s a genuinely first-rate wallpaper you should definitely check out.

Usefulness:
I would never really call wallpapers ‘useful’ things as they are pretty much solely aesthetic novelties (unless of course it’s a clock LWP). However, within the context of live wallpapers, My Beach HD at least offers a diverse range of options and modifications for you to take control of.
Ease of Use:
The menus are typically Android-esque, so if you’re familiar with your device, you’ll be familiar with the app system and should find it easy to use.
Frequently Used:
Obviously the app runs in the background (literally), and how much you tweak it is up to you.
Interface:
The interface is relatively familiar and is easy to understand. You do need to come out of the menu system to view your changes, but this is kind of the best way to see for yourself what the wallpaper looks like in full-screen glory.
