MP3 Music Download Pro – V7 is a free music Android downloader app. Easily search, download and playback music with built-in MP3 player that shows album artwork and synced lyrics. There’s also a bit of shady business going on within the app so lets dive in to see if it’s worth downloading or not.

Features:
MP3 Music Download Pro – V7 is currently the most popular music download app on the Android Market but by far the most intrusive. The monetization tactics in this app takes a page out of the douche-bag handbook. This app along with a few MP3 downloader apps created by the same developer, yet made to seem different have the same interface- subtle changes. It even places a disclaimer that it’s sibling app (cough competitor app MP3 Music Download V2 – NO ADS) has a virus to deter you from downloading it… but people will anyway. It has a ‘Top App’ feature to recommend Android apps to download from the Market. This app goes overboard with large popup ads in addition to smaller banners, another low down tactic is to popup a fake “Application Crashed” screen to get you to click the ‘Report’ button to share the app, even worse it pushes notification ads to the top of your phone’s notification window. 
Enough ranting… if you can bare with that, which it seems a few million people have, you can still get free MP3s with this app. Simply press “Search” and type the artist/band name, or for more accuracy the song title. In my research with this app and many similar to it, MP3 Music Download Pro finds approximately 85% of the music you search. This is because they rely on other public share locker websites for the downloads. Tip: if the song name brings back many variants by different artists, try searching the song title plus artist name to narrow it down.
Once you have found your music, tapping on it invokes options to “Play now”, “Download”, and “Share” via social sharing apps that exist on your phone or tablet. There is a built-in MP3 player with a feature to automatically get the song lyrics which syncs to the music (often this feature would match incorrect lyrics to a song so it’s a bit finicky). Once you have downloaded music you can head over to the “Local” section to see additional subsections; Songs, Artists, All Played, My Favorites, and Downloaded Tasks- all of which helps you manage your music. Lastly, if you were ever curious where the music is stored on your SD card, in your file manager app go to “mp3download” folder then “songs”.
