Watch HD movie trailers on a 320×480 screen? That’s not HD. That’s not even DVD quality.
True Jeff, we’ll change to “High Quality” as minumum HD starts @ 720p. Thanks ;-P
Downloaded this app a little while ago and find it very useful. One thing I found missing is a way to get movie theater info directly from showtime listings, but going directly to the Theaters tab gives you all the info you need. Great app.
Seems like a great app.. However, one thing all Movie & Showtimes apps for Android are missing is a link to Fandango so you can actually *buy* tickets.
I know that Fandango has a restricted API, but these apps could at least link into the Fandango mobile site, like Google does when you click on a showtime from the movies search field.
I tried it and it’s ok. But I much prefer Movie Finder to this.
I love this app except when listing movies for a certain theater, it doesn’t list the times for the 3D version of a movie. I searched for UP and it just lists times for the regular screening; even though I know the 3D version is also playing there. Movie Finder did list the 3D and non-3D showtimes.
This doesn’t work most of the time and I don’t know why – everyone else seems to rave about it – I just keep getting a network error.
When it does work, it’s a great app.
Very handy and useful app. However, I keep getting a force close whenever I want to rate a movie. I run it on an HTC Eris. Would be nice if they fix some of these glitches.
I’ve noticed that lately as well and had to ditch the app, hopefully an update is near.
I much prefer Movie Finder to this.
