Mippin Android App is a social media aggregate of content for mobile devices; typically from Blogs and News sources (provided there is a valid RSS feed). You enter your favorite blog or news website into the search (if not already submitted) and Mippin consumes, strips and compresses the content and images to display within the app. The app has its pros and cons; whereas viewing/reading content via the app is typically faster to load in a clean interface, yet all relevant links and content formatting is stripped… which is one of the strengths in blog writing formats. You can still view and comment on blog posts, view the original post, recommend a story, send via Email and post it on Twitter. The service allows you to create a profile; share and save stories. Bringing in some Twitter traits, once your profile is created you can follow and message similar followers.
In addition to searchable content, Mippin offers predefined Categories such as News, Sports, Video, Mobile, Tech, Celebs, TV & Film, plus more. There are ancillary Android widgets of specific channels for your home screen too:
