Minutes Tracker Android App allows you to keep a track on your T-Mobile cellular minutes with style. Represented by a minute “odometer”, shows the Minutes Remaining based on your minutes/plan information. You receive an Android “window shade” alert once you’ve passed your preset minute notification threshold. After each call you are presented with a status display of your remaining minutes.
Gripe Alert: We have some feature enhancements that could be taken into account that could make Minutes Tracker even better:
Minutes Tracker Android App is useful especially to those who tend to breach their plans’ minute barrier, helps save on overages. T-Mobile’s own My Account app can help with this too.
Minutes Tracker Android App is pretty intuitive and simple to use.
Intended for use with every phone call (auto starts at reboot of phone and runs seamlessly in the background).
The user interface is Awesome! Simple and sleek.

We are the developers of Minutes Tracker. Firstly, thanks for the great review. We would like to mention a few things. We have dropped the price of Minutes Tracker to $0.99 because we think this is a great app that everybody should take advantage of. Later this week will be launching version 2 that will sync with the carrier and a nifty charting feature that will allow you to compare monthly minutes usage to determine your optimal plan.
We will also be releasing widgets for dxTop and aHome.
Lastly, we have launched our second Android app, which is a grocery shopping app called ShopALot. It uses barcode scanning to build a grocery list and many more features. Do check it out: http://hollowire.com/shopalot
I got it – looks very slick. The alerts don’t interfere or intrude
Interesting idea. I don’t worry too much about going over though and can easily check with the T-Mobile app. Maybe I’ll wait to see what Version 2 is like.
Good work!!!
It was really needed and you have managed to fill the Gap.. Looking forward to many such new products
Hi to all, this seems to be an innovative prduct and has gr8 future in days to come. cheers!!!
does this just add all minutes used or does it only add minutes that you would be charged for?
Does it ignore My faves minutes, night and weekend minutes or mobile to mobile? Seeing as how some minutes do not subtract from your allowance it.d be a bit silly to count them.
I’m guessing that since the app does not yet integrate with your account that it will not be accurate when it comes to shared plans?
@Purple Penguin It only adds up the minutes you would be charged for and ignores nights and weekends if it is in your plan. Version 2 integrates with the carrier so the minutes displayed are accurate. We will be launching version 2 within a few days. I am with Rogers Wireless in Canada, will this work with my carrier,
I get 200 minutes for the month from Monday to Friday 7:00 am – 5:59 pm, free nights and weekends
@Ray Nicolini Currently, Minutes Tracker only supports T-Mobile US but we are looking at rolling out to other countries in the near future.
Does it only work with t-mobile or any other provider ?
