Race cute cars around all manner of beautifully designed tracks, fire up with nitrous boosts and complete career mode to become the best driver out there! Mini Motor Racing is cute little racing game, a bit like an old-school remote-controlled car racer, but with gorgeously detailed 3D graphics and lots of gameplay options. Race around several beautiful tracks, using a slew of cool vehicles and even boost on Nitrous! It’s brilliant fun, challenging and full of drama in short, action-packed races.
Choose between Career, Quick Race and Multiplayer. Career mode consists of a series of races as you challenge virtual players in a championship style. Quick Race is just that- a quick thrash around the unlocked track of your choice. Multiplayer mode pits you against available online players over a good WiFi connection.
The game provides three cool options for steering. You have a traditional steering wheel, similar to those found on RC units. You have a left and right paddle either side of the screen with nitrous boost in the centre, and finally you can select a left/right paddle on the left hand side of the screen- ideal if you’re used to thumbstick controls. I really like this choice and it’s actually worth trying them all out to see which suits you best.
There are 18 different vehicles to choose from and most become unlocked after completing aspects of the game. There are trucks, racing cars, pickups, a beetle, muscle cars and even a school bus to race! There are also numerous tracks to compete on- over 20 in total and you can play these during the day or at night. All of these are stunningly rendered graphically, and at night, little details like the car headlights coming on really make the game doubly impressive.
The only thing I would say is that it takes a little getting used to. Opposing cars are insanely aggressive and it becomes more like a bout of bumper racing. If you’ve played the delicious Reckless Racing game, both games are on the same page. Mini Motor Racing is champion however for the depth of play, online multiplayer options and such a wealth of tracks, cars and boosts.

Fun Factor:
Mini Motor Racing is loads of fun. Racing round different environments, blistering past people using nitrous boosts and roaring over the finish line into first place is as brilliant as racing can get on Android.
Addictive:
Because races are quite fast-paced and you can compete in quite a few races in a short space of time, Mini Motor Racing blends the casual with the addictive. Unlocking new vehicles and tracks keeps you coming back for more and more. There’s always lots to unlock and try out. I would say however that, it takes a little practice to finish races in first place. The other cars are incredibly aggressive and will take you out in a heart beat. Winning races requires strategy, so I would suggest you give the game some practice.
Graphics:
The graphics are beautiful- really detailed and vibrant. While the race tracks and events themselves show off the visuals best, even the menus and sub-sections are remarkably slick and polished. Everything feels shiny and interactive, perfectly designed.
Accelerometer, Vibration & Sound:
Sound too is pretty much immaculate. From the cool menu music to the roar of a nitrous-powered burst, it’s an authentic and awesome element of the game.
