Pros & Cons:
Pros
- You can access and participate in the MetaTrader Forex currency trading exchange on your Android device!
- Demo accounts as well as live accounts, so you can test strategies before you spend real money!
- Easy to use UI!
Cons
- The same app as MetaTrader 4, for the most part.
Features:
Most of the time, even when two apps are similar, I review them as completely separate, giving each one its own space. In this case, however, since I just reviewed MetaTrader 4 a week ago, I’m going to have to make some comparisons.
First off, the two apps are, for all intents and purposes, exactly the same. The only real difference, that I could see, was that this one uses the Metatrader 5 platform, versus 4, hence the numbers in the app names. Because I’m not a currency trader, I can’t speak to the benefits of one over the other, or even what the differences are, only mention that this is really the only difference between these two apps.
MetaTrader 5 does offer a few more chart options, which is a nice addition, and one feature a lot of users had complained about on 4. It’s still not going to be the more complex and complete picture you get from your broker and/or tracking website of choice, but it is nice to have a bit more information at your fingertips.
Other than that, the UI of the two apps are identical, so the things I liked about 4, also applies to 5. It’s clean and well-thought-out, making it easy for even a rookie to navigate and trade. It doesn’t explain Forex trading, but that’s not the purpose of the app – this is a tool for someone who is already trading, and who wants to track their accounts on the go, as well as take advantage of trade opportunities when they’re away from a computer.

Usefulness:
If you use the MetaTrader 5 platform, then the app is one you’ll get a lot of use out of. It will allow you to access your accounts and participate in trades while on the go.
Ease of Use:
Even as someone who has no knowledge of the Forex market, I found the app easy to navigate, and pretty self-explanatory. For someone already in the market, it’s going to be even easier to use.
Frequently Used:
This depends on your trading habits. If you like to keep an eye on your accounts all the time, then this is an app you’ll use often, throughout the day.
Interface:
As I mentioned above, the interface is very clean, and very easy to use. It makes the app a pleasure to navigate.
