Each player has unique strengths and weaknesses. Controls adaptable to anyone: Advanced mode plays like a sports simulation game, and you can even add spin to the ball. Casual mode for easy fun and fewer bogies (but no, it won’t let you cheat).

Pros

• Fun & addictive 3D golf game
• Can be challenging on higher difficulty levels
• Smooth & rich 3D graphics with easy game controls
• For a limited time if you have an HTC Evo 4G or Nexus One you can get the game for free

Cons

• Not available in the Android Market and has an EXTREMELY Painful process to buy and receive the game (some report buying and never receiving the game… so caution)
• Only available in the U.S.

Features:

Let’s Golf for Android is an immersive 3D golf game filled with amazing graphics, environments, customizable characters and and easy game controls. There are several difficulty levels and play modes such as Instant Play, Multi-player for playing between friends, Tournament, and Free Hole. Choose how many holes you want to golf and even your location be it Fiji, England, USA or Scotland. As you advance in the tourney portion of the game you can customize your characters’ clothing, appearance and golf accessories.

Note: 157MB needs to be downloaded and saved to SD card, downloading over Wi-Fi is recommended.

Gripe alert: Our biggest gripe is not with the game but how Gameloft chooses not to offer it in the official Android Market and only through their website. They have you purchase the app then you wait for a text message with custom link to download. Some buyers have complained they never received the link and calling customer support and actually getting help is a roll of the dice. To further complicate it, their reinstall policy is screwed as one cannot install the purchased app on multiple devices or say you factory reboot your phone and want to restore the game, you’ll be greeted with a “This is not an original copy of…” error message and have to purchase again.

Hopefully Gameloft can correct these customer service issues as they currently offer most of the best 3D game titles on Android, but keeping this up will allow another game publisher to capitalize off their mistakes!

Fun Factor & Addictive:

Whether you love golf or not, the game is highly fun and addictive… even skillfully challenging as you advance tournament difficulty levels. Meaning you choose club, factor in wind, course conditions, and even the slope angles on the green.

Graphics:

The 3D graphics and scenery are simply amazing!

Accelerometer, Vibration & Sound:

Use on-screen controls to play, plus you can toggle sound effects and background music.
