  • Read thousands of free ebooks
  • Save and sync last page read, bookmarks, notes, and highlights between devices; Kindle, Android, iPhone, etc.

Features:

Kindle for Android allows you to sync with your pre-existing Amazon.com account which syncs your wishlist, pre- purchased Kindle downloads and load them into your Android handset for reading; or you can start a new one.

It also has a bookmark feature so you can continue reading where you left off from previously. Kindle for Android has options to increase font size and 3 different color background settings.

When you are ready to purchase more kindle books, there is a Kindle store option that takes you to a special mobile version of the store or you may choose to go to the Amazon.com official website.

All downloads will automatically appear on the Kindle for Android home screen once the download is complete. To get access to millions of other free ebooks of the Kindle for Android app visit this page to get instructions and titles from Archive.org, OpenLibrary.org, Gutenberg.org, and ManyBooks.net.

If you are a Kindle user or a frequent book reader on the go you will find the app most helpful.

Ease of Use:

Kindle for Android is very simple to use with clear customization options to choose from.

Frequently Used:

Can be used as often as you choose when reading ebooks on the go, probably even more frequent when you don’t physically have you Kindle with you… but typically you’ll have your phone.

I can’t get it to remember the last page read. Very frustrating. I am talking on the device or between it and my real Kindle.

I read 10 pages into a book. Close the app, go back to the book and I am taken back to page 1. There is no ‘bookmark’ option in the menu. Just this cryptic padlock in the lower right hand corned that I don’t have a clue what it does, it does not save the last read pointers.
